Supperclub© has so many amazing establishments here in Amsterdam that they really do deserve their own pages. The original Supperclub is the ultimate in hedonistic dining. Recline on beds in this wall-to-wall white haunt of the fashionable and creative whilst grazing on culinary delights – created by top chefs – served on platters from the open kitchen and leisurely spread out over five courses. Fine wines, a live DJ spinning upbeat lounge, video art and offbeat performances complete the experience. Downstairs, in the red decadence of Le Salon Rouge, the party continues and it's also a great location for one-off club nights.

Inspired by owner Bert van der Leden's visits to his Supperclub restaurant in Rome, the menu here consists of small dishes – each delicacies – that you can choose individually and at your leisure. Chefs mix a veritable pallet of ingredients – combining flavours extraordinarily – from the open kitchen (you can even watch them at work as you pass by the window). Out of 10, the food rates at 11. And you'll leave feeling sated – not stuffed. An absolute must for foodies!

Open daily for lunch and dinner, this contemporary fish restaurant – with panoramic views across the River IJ and an outdoor terrace – can be found just along the waterfront from Centraal Station. Chefs work their magic on the fruits of the sea, with a superb menu inspired by fish dishes from all over the world. There's also a small meat menu for non-fish lovers.

A hip Arabian restaurant – from the decor down to the middle eastern menu, electic wine list, inspired cocktails and accompanying beats from the DJ. Slip off your shoes and kick back on mattresses as your dinner is served from large bronze platters.
