Sagittarius
21 November-21 December
The 1st puts you up against the wall about one really avoidable incident. Play by the rules and there will be no incidents. Push the envelope and there will be trouble – harsh words, threats, anger, and the possibility of being shown the door or just quitting out of spite. Again, this can be totally, absolutely avoided by not allowing anything petty (like a tattletale gossiping hen) to bother you. Remember that you're maybe three rungs up the karmic ladder than the gossip, so don't lose ground by engaging in chatter with the hen. Groundhog day is pleasant and pleasing with friends, and loads of calls and emails. Your main concern with the Phil the Groundhog is that he gets a good meal and is quickly transported back to his hidey-hole. Move the cameras and human attention seekers away and leave the poor furry guy in peace. On the 3rd, Neptune enters Pisces, your 4th house of home, security, family, memories, comfort food, and traditions that may trace back to the old country. You might get sentimental – or not, depending on your connections with ye olde sod and some of your always-smashed relatives. But there will be fun in the kitchen, especially if you've got a new kitchen gadget. This Sagittarius has a new VitaMix, thanks to my pal and fellow writer Valerie Gilbert's suggestion and live demo! You can make ANYTHING in it from Margaritas to the best warm vegetarian or chicken broccoli soup ever. You can even make cashew or almond butter! The possibilities are endless. Toss out the blender and get a VitaMix. My Cancer husband loves gadgets and can't believe that it has a 2 horsepower engine. Get one and make cooking fun again. Besides transforming yourself into the laziest version of Martha Stewart in the kitchen, you also improve your home, one set of sheets or pillows at a time. You also work on being a little smarter about your timing and scheduling. You do your best to get projects done and in the can faster without sacrificing quality. The 7th brings a fabuloso Full Moon in Leo, giving you the upper hand when it comes to setting rules, and making final decisions. You're the boss and you handle the responsibility very fairly. On the same day, Saturn goes retro until late June, suggesting that certain hopes, wishes, and aspirations need to be planned out and thought through a little more carefully. No need for a mad rush. Ahh…Venus enters your 5th house of fun and creativity on the 8th making this a fabulous month for your imagination, love, creative gifts, competitive sports (even if you're just beating your own personal best). When you're happy and your heart is filled with love, your creativity zooms up into the stratosphere. When you're blue, your creativity goes way down and what you do feels like a repetitive job, not a labor of love. The 9th and 10th affect nearly everyone the same way: damned if you do, damned if you don't. Even so the best tactic is to NOT make a decision or commitment but leave the door open, because things will change before the end of the month. Allow no one to pressure you. If they insist on doing so, gently but firmly escort them out the door and disappear. Don't take his or her calls throughout the day. Just work on what interests you and your endless responsibilities or creative endeavors. [continued on next page...]
