Because this month has two Eclipses, we need to talk. Remember that the day that an Eclipse occurs, it packs a lot of energy, but this energy doesn't just politely disappear a day later. Noooo – it continues for six months. So pay special attention to the two Eclipses (two weeks apart!) and make sure you're prepared. Most of you, of course, already are. Being a bull and all that….You spend the 1st day of May, Beltane, flirting, chatting, and cleverly blending business with pleasure. You have an interest that one of your contacts also has, making you the perfect mate for a yacht outing/lunch/party. You can start celebrating Cinco de Mayo way early (like on the 1st) because you have a lot on the line and it's looking very promising. Tuesday, the 7th, brings a flock of people your way. These are the kind of people you aspire to be ASAP. As great as you look, you can't stand wasting your youth waiting for Mr. Goodbar. You want your Goodbar NOW, if not sooner – and definitely before your next fraxel or botox treatment. Wednesday, the 8th is beautiful TRUDY TEAGUE'S BIRTHDAY! She's one of my two gorgeous daughters-in-law, and the mom of two of my three amazingly smart grandbabies. Trudy, a banker, deserves a round of applause. Banking is not for sissies this month. On the 9th, the 1st Eclipse (Solar) and New Moon occur. Whatever is going on in the market on this day is a bellwether for how things will be during the next six months. It's good that Venus jumps into Gemini on that day, suggesting that spreading the risk and taking well-thought-out risks are brilliant, just brilliant. Aside from the signals that will get news hounds unraveled faster than you can say BOO!, Sunday brings in Mother's Day. So kids, whether you're 4 or 64, honor your mother if you're lucky enough to still have a living mom. Spoil her. Give her 2-3 hours of your time, and then go back to your usual routine. Generations of mothers gather together on that day and love every moment of it. Don't underestimate how much that particular day means to each mom, young or elderly. It's so much fun to pass the babies around, listen to what your kids and their kids are up to. It's a holiday that must not be forgotten. Then Monday arrives on the 13th, bringing a bristling uncertainty globally. Maybe someone will make a fake threat and get newscasters in a tizzy. And maybe the markets will lose some steam due to the faux bomb or threat. There's always a ripple effect to everything a gossip, liar, or bigmouth stupidly says. And the ripple effect is rarely good. To tops things off on Monday, May 20th the third, in a series of seven, Uranus/Pluto squares occurs. This episode began on June 24, 2012 and will end on March 16, 2015. People tend to panic, overreact, and assume the worst with just a little push from news monsters that love to stir a pot of bubbling…water. Just get through it. The media will blow it out of proportion and the stock market will go schizoid, most likely on or around May 25th during the Lunar Eclipse and Full Moon in Sagittarius. This is actually nothing to get hot and bothered about. In fact, make a slew of paper airplanes and aim them at the news crappers. You can reuse them every time they attempt to raise the panic level to HIGH. Or you can turn off the TV and do whatever you please. This is out of your hands and temporary. How you manage yourself during these eclipses is more important than the event. You can turn the next six months into a miserable experience, or you can turn it into something very profitable and memorable. During trying times, smart people almost always make money. Scaredy cats exit the market and don't know what to do with that money. On Sunday the 26th, keep things even, smooth, calm, and loving. Don't get into an argument. If you do, halfway into it, ask yourself, now what were we arguing about? Best guess is that neither of you remember what set things off. Monday is fine for listening, but not so good for talking. Be careful who you share information with, too. Someone in your group is a major big mouth that makes stuff up as she goes along. Tuesday the 28th is flat out romantic – and creative! What a beautiful blend! Get ready for interesting times on Friday the 31st when Mercury, the communication and travel planet moves into Cancer, strongly suggesting that weather issues aside, people will flock and fly to their favorite beach. On the same day, Mars moves into Gemini, making you more willing to diversify your investments. And you'll make dramatic instant decisions (all amazingly great) on the spot.
